Dropfans publishes a 15% seller deduction and describes a separate 10% buyer fee in its homepage FAQ. FanPay Link’s selected agency illustration uses 7.5% and 9.5% respectively.
Keep both fee sides visible.
Dropfans’ 85% seller headline refers to the price before the fan’s separate checkout fee. Compare that seller amount with FanPay Link’s post-platform agency balance before either service’s agency-to-creator arrangement.
| Service | Listed price | Fan pays | Seller/agency balance |
|---|---|---|---|
| FanPay Link· agency | $10.00 | $10.95 | $9.25 |
| Dropfans | $10.00 | $11.00 | $8.50 |
| FanPay Link· agency | $100.00 | $109.50 | $92.50 |
| Dropfans | $100.00 | $110.00 | $85.00 |
Decide which selling model you need.
Dropfans describes drops, subscriptions, tips and a public discovery feed. Those are different purchase and distribution models. FanPay Link’s confirmed description covers one-off photo links after vault validation; recurring memberships and a discovery marketplace are not established FanPay capabilities.
If recurring access or audience discovery is the reason you are shopping for a platform, evaluate those capabilities directly. A one-off paid link can be a simpler match for an existing audience that wants a specific picture, but it does not create demand or replace every creator platform feature.
Separate sales from funds available to withdraw.
Dropfans publishes a $5 minimum drop and a $20 payout balance threshold, with sales released after 14 days. Its pricing FAQ describes withdrawals as requested rather than automatically pushed. These are Dropfans’ published conditions, not FanPay Link payout terms.
For FanPay Link, ask sales to confirm country, payout method, minimums, timing and costs for your setup. The calculator shows agency earnings before excluded costs, not the date those earnings become available.
Test the offer you actually plan to sell.
- Use a one-off photo offer for a matched comparison.
- Check the full fan total before payment.
- Confirm any required subscription or discovery feature.
- Check the applicable content and agency requirements.
- Keep existing purchased access separate from a platform switch.
Compare the one-off sale.
