At a $10 listed price, the standard illustration is $11.50 paid / $8.50 remaining on Fangate, versus $10.95 / $9.25 on FanPay Link’s agency model, before excluded costs and creator splits.
Include the fixed charge on both sides.
Fangate publishes a 12.5% plus 0.25 creator charge and a 12.5% plus 0.25 fan service fee, in the sale currency. It describes an agency share as a split of the creator’s net, rather than an extra platform charge on that share.
| Service | Listed price | Fan pays | Seller/agency balance |
|---|---|---|---|
| FanPay Link· agency | $10.00 | $10.95 | $9.25 |
| Fangate | $10.00 | $11.50 | $8.50 |
| FanPay Link· agency | $100.00 | $109.50 | $92.50 |
| Fangate | $100.00 | $112.75 | $87.25 |
A balance and an agency share are different numbers.
The balances above stop before the agency-to-creator agreement. If an illustrative agreement assigns 40% of the post-fee balance to an agency, apply it to that balance, not to the fan’s checkout amount. For FanPay Link’s $10 example, 40% of $9.25 is $3.70; the remaining $5.55 belongs to the other side of that example agreement.
Fangate describes automated agency splits. The FanPay calculation here is a planning illustration; automated revenue splits are not a confirmed FanPay feature. Establish the account arrangement you need before comparing two headline agency percentages.
Choose for the job you need to do.
FanPay Link’s described workflow is to upload pictures to a vault, validate them, attach validated pictures to paid links and share. Create an account in the app to start your setup. The homepage checkout is a demonstration.
If you need a working agency workflow immediately, test the required features and confirm onboarding with each provider. For FanPay Link, bring your content category, expected sales and payout requirements to sales. A lower illustrated transaction fee is useful only when the tool supports the sale you intend to run.
Check these details before choosing.
Fangate’s pricing page describes crypto checkout discounts and volume terms, which can change the standard comparison. Our examples are transparent calculations from the published schedule, not quotes for every checkout.
- Use the actual sale currency and the fixed charge for that currency.
- Confirm the applicable content and verification requirements.
- Compare the final checkout amount and post-fee balance separately.
- Check payout costs and any negotiated or special checkout terms.
- Demonstrate any agency split or integration your operation depends on.
