FanPay Link’s confirmed description covers one-off photo links. Subscription billing and membership management are not established FanPay capabilities.
Compare the commitment, not just the price.
| Question | One-off access | Subscription |
|---|---|---|
| What prompts a purchase? | A specific picture or offer | Continuing value over a recurring period |
| Publishing work | Prepare and describe each offer | Maintain the value promised each period |
| Price decision | Evaluate each purchase | Evaluate a recurring commitment |
| Operational questions | Preview, price and purchased access | Recurring billing, cancellation and membership access |
Match the model to why fans buy.
An audience interested in a particular behind-the-scenes picture may prefer a single, specific purchase. An audience expecting a continuing stream of material may prefer a membership. Neither preference establishes demand without observing your own audience.
Ask what you are prepared to promise. A one-off picture should not be described as access to a whole future catalog. A subscription should not be sold without a clear recurring offer and the operational ability to deliver it.
Compare workload and costs separately.
Write a scenario for each model using the same period and explicitly assumed sales or members. Keep platform charges, refunds, production workload and access responsibilities separate. Do not call hypothetical membership retention or repeat purchases a forecast.
The FanPay agency calculator only models selected fees on one-off picture sales. It does not calculate subscription billing, cancellations, member churn or renewal revenue.
Choose a model you can operate today.
- Describe the exact value the buyer expects.
- Check your continuing publishing commitment.
- Confirm the service supports the required billing and access model.
- Write down all assumed quantities in the scenario.
- Avoid treating a price difference as proof of product fit.
