Set a price that works for your next sale.

Set a price around a clear offer, then learn from actual purchases. Copying another creator’s price is not a substitute for understanding your audience.

Compare the fan total and the agency balance at each price. A higher listed price does not automatically mean higher total earnings.

Define the offer before the number.

Write down what the buyer gets: a particular original picture, its context and the access being sold. Keep the description specific. A price for a commercial image license or a photography session is not evidence for the price of one-off fan access.

Consider the work required to create and prepare the offer, your existing audience and the purpose of the sale. Use those inputs to choose a starting test; there is no confirmed universal market price in this guide.

Work back from the actual balance.

Use the fan total to assess the purchase commitment and the agency balance to assess the amount left before your own agreement and costs. Avoid setting a headline price and discovering only later that it does not leave enough for your intended split.

Selected agency rates, per-sale cent rounding. Excludes creator splits and other costs.

Test one change at a time.

Choose a review period and record the offer, audience, channel and actual sales. If you change the preview, price and audience at once, the result will not tell you which change mattered. Keep the sample size visible and repeat cautiously before treating it as a pattern.

For a synthetic example, ten sales at $5 leave $46.20 before excluded costs, while six sales at $8 leave $44.40. That example illustrates the tradeoff; it is not a conversion benchmark or an income forecast. Real results depend on the offer and audience.

Keep the next decision simple.

  • Record the list price and full fan amount.
  • Record completed sales separately from reactions or replies.
  • Calculate fees per sale before adding totals.
  • Note changes in audience, offer or channel.
  • Choose whether to keep, retest or revise the offer.
